Role

Shannan: Wielder of Astra, based on Shannan's appearance in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, was first made available from January 9, 2020 – January 30, 2020 as part of the New Heroes: Heir of Light summoning event. He was the first Hero to come with Steady Posture 3. His personal weapon is Balmung, which was able to be refined after the 8.0.0 Update on December 6, 2023, and his personal skill is Imperial Astra.

Shannan is fought during Book IV, Chapter 3, in Part 1 and Part 3. He features in the Tactics Drills thrice, used during Skill Studies 73, Skill Studies 262, and Grandmaster 99. He additionally features in the Beyond Blood Forging Bonds event, alongside Larcei: Keen Kin, Ced: Hero on the Wind, and Altena: Luminous Rider, granting the Swordmaster Tie and Swordmaster Tie EX. Additionally, he makes an appearance during story sequences in the Forging Bonds events Darkness to Light, Weave of Fate, and Dawning Future, as well as Paralogue 88: Part 3.

Shannan was one of the featured Heroes in the seventeenth Hall of Forms, which ran from April 25, 2021 – May 9, 2021 and reran from March 10, 2023 – March 18, 2023, alongside Larcei: Keen Kin, Ced: Hero on the Wind, and Altena: Luminous Rider. He also featured as a Røkkr on the second phase of the eighteenth Røkkr Sieges beginning on September 11, 2022.

Shannan: Wielder of Astra

The kingdom of Isaach was founded by the crusader Od, and Isaach's warriors followed in his footsteps to master the blade. Shannan is one such swordsman, and as a descendant of Od's bloodline, he has the ability to wield the divine blade Balmung!

Shannan's kingdom was subjugated during his infancy, and he lost his father as well. He escaped with his aunt, Princess Ayra, and later joined the army of Sigurd of Chalphy.

After Sigurd's death, Shannan looked after and raised his son, Seliph—and this was the start of a long and hard path that Shannan would walk to keep a promise he once made to Sigurd.

Seliph went on to raise an army against the Grannvale Empire, with Shannan at the vanguard. Over the course of the conflict, Shannan watched over Seliph and kept fighting until he saw peace restored!

Inheritor of the sacred sword Tyrfing. A savior in his time, but dislikes battle. Julia's half-brother. Shannan takes the role of his guardian.
