Role

Vyland: Coyote's Justice, based on Vyland's appearance in Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, was first made available from October 18, 2021 – October 30, 2021 as part of the Ascended Heroes quests, celebrating the addition of the first Ascended Hero, during which two 5★ versions were given out as quest rewards. He was first able to be summoned from October 5, 2023 – November 5, 2023 as part of the Ninja Training summoning event. He was the first Hero to come with the Unbound Axe. His personal weapon is the Catalyst Axe, which was added to the game and able to be refined as part of the 10.2.0 Update on February 4, 2026.

Vyland is fought during Book V, Chapter 12, in Part 2, Part 4, and Part 5. He features in the Tactics Drills once, used during Grandmaster 102. He also features in the With Conviction Forging Bonds event, alongside Malice: Deft Sellsword, Wolf: Coyote's Loyal, and Roshea: Coyote's Faithful, granting the Camaraderie Cup and Camaraderie Cup EX. Additionally, he makes an appearance during story sequences in the Forging Bonds event Illuminating the Path.

A 4★ Combat Manual version of Vyland: Coyote's Justice could be compiled using 100 Divine Code: Ephemera 10 from October 5, 2022 – November 28, 2022, and using 100 Divine Code: Ephemera 4 from April 3, 2025 – May 28, 2025.

Vyland: Coyote's Justice

Here's Vyland, one of a band of elite knights called the Coyote's Men who serve Aurelis, one of the kingdoms of Archanea!

Vyland comes from the plains, and like many of his kin, he was forced into slavery. After he was freed by Hardin, he vowed to protect Hardin, even if it meant giving his own life.

He's also very close with Wolf, Roshea, and Sedgar—he and his fellow members of the Coyote's Men are like brothers, through and through. He and Roshea fight as a team on the battlefield, and they always have each other's backs.

Vyland is loyal and dedicated to his crew, but I'm sure he'll give his all when helping out the Order of Heroes too!

Closely Associated Characters

Roshea

Member of the Coyote's Men of Aurelis. After the War of Shadows, he retired from the army but eventually returned to the field. He and Vyland fight in tandem, always watching each other's backs.

Wolf

Leader of the Coyote's Men of Aurelis. He has pledged an oath of loyalty to Hardin. He and Vyland grew up together like brothers.

Sedgar

Second in command of the Coyote's Men of Aurelis. Alongside Wolf, he fights with the pride of the plains people. Like the others, he and Vyland grew up together like brothers.
