Role

Effie: Army of One, based on Effie's appearance in Fire Emblem Fates, was one of the first characters available to be summoned by players from the game's initial launch. She was the first Hero to come with Wary Fighter. Her personal weapon is Effie's Lance, which was added to the game and able to be refined as part of the 4.10.0 Update on October 7, 2020. She became a Resplendent Hero with an outfit based on Jötunheimr on June 10, 2022.

Effie is fought in Book I, Chapter 2: Part 2. She features in the Tactics Drills six times, used during the following chapters:

Effie featured in the Voting Gauntlet beginning on November 29, 2019, Battle of Brawn, where she lost in Round 2 to Duma: God of Strength.

A 4★ Combat Manual version of Effie: Army of One could be compiled using 100 Divine Code: Ephemera 4 from April 7, 2020 – May 28, 2020 and from April 6, 2023 – May 28, 2023, and using 100 Divine Code: Ephemera 10 from October 6, 2025 – November 28, 2025. Additionally, she was one of the focus Heroes of the Three Heroes Quests running from February 3, 2022 – February 17, 2022, alongside Cordelia: Knight Paragon and Peri: Playful Slayer, during which a 3★ version was given out as a quest reward.

Role

Effie: Dedicated Heart was first made available from February 8, 2023 – February 18, 2023 as a reward for the Tempest Trials+ event, The Prince's Secret. She was the first Hero to come with the Petalfall Vase. She is able to be summoned using Heroic Grails since the 7.4.0 Update on April 6, 2023.

Effie is fought during Paralogue 82, in Part 2 and Part 3. She also appears during story sequences in the Tempest Trials+ event The Prince's Secret.

A 4★ Combat Manual version of Effie: Dedicated Heart could be compiled using 100 Divine Code: Ephemera 8 from August 7, 2023 – September 28, 2023.

Effie: Army of One
Effie is a knight who serves as a retainer to Elise, princess of Nohr. The two are old friends, in fact, having known each other since childhood! Effie was born in the underground city of Nohr’s capital. Day in, day out, she trained herself as hard as she could to be reunited with Elise, until one day, she managed to escape the underground slums and earn a post serving as a soldier at the royal castle. With her kind personality and gentle appearance, it’s surprising how tough Effie really is. Her tough regimen also means she’s got a voracious appetite, and she’s always got room for seconds! Effie stands at the vanguard to protect Elise and the kingdom. She’s as kind as she is mighty, and I hope that she’ll be a shield who will keep the Order of Heroes safe!

Though she usually wears heavy armor, this time Effie’s changed her look to something lighter and more suitable for horseback riding. This noble and feminine style really suits her! She’s also carrying a fabulous accessory—a special bouquet of flowers that pairs Nohrian roses with Hoshidan cherry blossoms! It looks like she’s already racing to hand out presents… Wait, she’s tackling people and shoving gifts into their pockets! Effie, stop! That’s not how the spirit of giving works!
