Role

Altena: Luminous Rider, based on Altena's appearance in Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, was first made available from January 9, 2020 – January 30, 2020 as part of the New Heroes: Heir of Light summoning event. Her personal weapon is the Earthly Gáe Bolg, which was able to be refined after the 7.11.0 Update on November 6, 2023.

Altena is fought during Book IV, Chapter 3, in Part 2 and Part 5. She additionally features in the Beyond Blood Forging Bonds event, alongside Larcei: Keen Kin, Shannan: Wielder of Astra, and Ced: Hero on the Wind, granting the Wyvern Tiara and Wyvern Tiara EX. Additionally, she makes an appearance during story sequences in the Forging Bonds events Timeless Ties and Hope to Liberate.

Altena was a featured Hero in two Voting Gauntlets. The first, Father-Complex Fray, began on July 1, 2020, during which she lost in Round 1 to Michalis: Ambitious King. The second, Dragoon Duels, began on July 1, 2022, during which she lost in the Final Round to Valter: Dark Moonstone. She was also one of the featured Heroes in the seventeenth Hall of Forms, which ran from April 25, 2021 – May 9, 2021 and reran from March 10, 2023 – March 18, 2023, alongside Larcei: Keen Kin, Shannan: Wielder of Astra, and Ced: Hero on the Wind.

Altena was a featured Hero during the fifth Frontline Phalanx, which ran from September 15, 2021 – September 25, 2021, joining forces with Quan: Luminous Lancer, Ethlyn: Spirited Princess, and Leif: Prince of Leonster to repel Travant: King of Thracia. Additionally, she is a featured Hero for one Bound Hero Battle, Leif & Altena, which was first made available on May 5, 2022 and features her alongside Leif: Prince of Leonster.

A 4★ Combat Manual version of Altena: Luminous Rider could be compiled using 100 Divine Code: Ephemera 1 from January 7, 2021 – February 28, 2021, and using 100 Divine Code: Ephemera 8 from August 6, 2024 – September 28, 2024. Additionally, she was one of the focus Heroes of the Three Heroes Quests running from May 13, 2023 – May 27, 2023, alongside Cherche: Wyvern Friend and Seteth: Seiros Adherent, during which a 3★ version was given out as a quest reward.

Altena: Luminous Rider
Here's Altena, Princess of Thracia! She possesses the ability to wield the Gáe Bolg, which is a sure sign that her past is a little complicated. Altena's true parents are Quan, Prince of Leonster, and Ethlyn of Chalphy. They took Altena with them on a mission to aid Sigurd when she was very young, and sadly, they both died in an attack. It was King Travant of Thracia who led the ambush in which Altena's parents perished. Altena's fate then took another strange turn when Travant took an interest in her and raised her as his own daughter! Knowing nothing about her origins, Altena grew up to be a proud wyvern rider. But what path will she choose when she finds out the truth about what happened all those years ago?
