Role

Roderick: Steady Squire, based on Roderick's appearance in Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem, was first made available from June 14, 2017 – June 30, 2017 as part of the New Heroes: Echoes of Mystery summoning event. He was the first Hero to come with the Firesweep Lance, Rally Def/Res, and Drive Def. His personal weapon is the Steady Lance, which was added to the game and able to be refined as part of the 3.7.0 Update on July 8, 2019.

Roderick is fought in Paralogue 7: Part 1. He features in the Tactics Drills thrice, used during Skill Studies 3, Grandmaster 26, and Grandmaster 65. He also makes an appearance during story sequences in the Forging Bonds event Hint of Potential.

A 4★ Combat Manual version of Roderick: Steady Squire could be compiled using 100 Divine Code: Ephemera 8 from August 6, 2020 – September 28, 2020.

Roderick: Steady Squire

The Altean knights are a prestigious order, with young men and women all but lining up to become squires and join their storied ranks. Here's Roderick, a new recruit to the 7th Platoon!

Roderick lost his mother at an early age and was brought up living on meager means. He's quite a mature young man, having looked after his sisters since they were children.

While he does have a serious disposition, he's also good friends with Luke, a fellow recruit whose personality is quite the opposite of Roderick's. Despite their differences, however, they're an unstoppable team on the battlefield!

Roderick is a thoughtful, level-headed squire who's comfortable with people from different walks of life. There's no doubt that he'll leave his mark on history as a knight—and I hope he can spare some time to help the Order of Heroes too!
