Heroes of the Oasis (Japanese: オアシスの勇者 Heroes of the oasis) is the thirteenth chapter of Fire Emblem Engage. In this chapter, Alear and their army seek out the next Emblem Ring: the Ring of the Radiant Hero.

In addition to the next main chapter, completing this chapter will also unlock the fifth paralogue chapter.

Plot

Main article: Heroes of the Oasis/Script

Queen Seforia welcomes Alear and the other royalty to Solm's palace, complimenting Fogado on bringing them there. Alear asks if the palace has been breached by Corrupted or Elusians, and is dumbfounded when she responds that Solm dispatched them all with ease. Alear then requests to receive the Ring of the Radiant Hero, which Seforia and Fogado think is kept inside a drawer; Ivy, Alfred, and Diamant are all befuddled by their treatment of the ring. Seforia then remembers that her daughter, Timerra, is holding it, and that she has been away for days. Seforia tells Alear that Timerra was heading to the southern oasis, and Fogado leads them to her.

At the oasis, Timerra has already set up camp by starlight, and begins to sing alongside her retainers, Merrin and Panette. Just then, two bandits—Tetchie and Totchie—arrive with a band of Corrupted and attack them. Alear and Fogado arrive at the oasis and quickly make their way to her. Timerra asks Alear to summon an Emblem from her ring, and they proceed to invoke Emblem Ike. The group then fights off the bandits and the Corrupted.

After the battle, Alear tells Timerra that Sombron has been released, which she replies to by saying that she, Fogado, and Seforia had already known this beforehand. She explains that Solm has scouts all over Elyos who learned of Sombron's release early on, but Solm's inability to use the Emblem Rings meant they had to focus on defending their country first. Fogado was part of this defense, maintaining watch of the border so that he could appraise anyone who claimed to be the Divine Dragon. Alear asks why Solm could not ask the other countries for help, which she responds to by saying that if they did, they would be forced to reciprocate the help, which Solm lacked the means to do so. Timerra then reveals that Solm holds a second Emblem Ring, but before she can say where it is held, a soldier brings news that Hortensia and the Elusian forces have breached the palace. Alear, Timerra, and the others rush off to stop her.
