Role

Cynthia: Hero Chaser, based on Cynthia's appearance in Fire Emblem Awakening, was first made available from June 13, 2019 – June 22, 2019 as part of the eponymous Grand Hero Battle, Cynthia: Hero Chaser. She is able to be summoned using Heroic Grails since the 3.8.0 Update on August 6, 2019. Her personal weapon is the Lance of Heroics, which was added to the game and able to be refined as part of the 6.11.0 Update on November 7, 2022.

Cynthia is fought during Book III, Chapter 8, in Part 1 and Part 4. She also makes an appearance during story sequences in the Forging Bonds event Weave of Fate.

Cynthia served as the enemy commander during Mjölnir's Strike during event 32 (August 21, 2020 – August 23, 2020), event 80 (October 21, 2021 – October 24, 2021), and event 153 (June 26, 2024 – June 29, 2024). She also featured in the Voting Gauntlet beginning on July 1, 2021, Pegasus-Knight Pileup, where she lost in Round 2 to Farina: The Great Wing.

Cynthia was the focus of the Grand Hero Battles quests running from January 28, 2020 – February 3, 2020, during which a 3★ version was given out as a quest reward. She was also the focus of the Grand Hero Party Quest running on February 5, 2023, during which a 5★ version was given out as a quest reward.

Cynthia: Hero Chaser
Cynthia is one of Lucina's allies who came with her to Ylisse from the future. She's a pegasus knight and the daughter of Sumia, one of Chrom's Shepherds! Unlike the shy and timid Sumia, Cynthia's a hyped-up action girl who dreams of fighting for justice, just like the heroes she heard so many stories about. In fact, she's so obsessed with the stories that she starts off her battles by making a dramatic (heroic!) entrance to strike terror in the hearts of evildoers! I guess she might be a little quick to believe everything she hears in stories, but as far wanting to be a real-life hero is concerned, she has my full support!

Sumia Cynthia's mother, one of Chrom's Shepherds. She likes to read fortunes using flowers.
