Snowl[Japanese title] is a flying enemy that debuted in Kirby's Return to Dream Land, first encountered in the White Wafers level. It yields the Ice ability when swallowed.
It resembles a small horned owl with white plumage, a purple face, yellow eyes and blue feather tufts. It flies back and forth, leaving a trail of ice in its wake, and occasionally drops ice that can deal damage to Kirby and his friends.
Snowl appears in White Wafers - Stage 2 and Dangerous Dinner - Stage 2.
