Get one

During website creation:

1. In hPanel, go to Websites → Add website.

2. When asked for a domain, pick Free subdomain.

3. Hostinger generates a unique one.

4. Your site is live.

You can also generate a free subdomain via the API.

Upgrade to a custom domain later

1. Register or transfer your domain to Hostinger, or point an existing one.

2. Go to Websites → your site → Domains.

3. Click Add domain, enter the custom domain.

4. Set it as primary.

The free subdomain can stay as a secondary or be removed.

Custom subdomains under your domain

Create things like blog.yourdomain.com or app.yourdomain.com:

1. Go to Websites → your site → Domains.

2. Click Add domain or Create subdomain.

3. Enter the prefix (e.g., blog).

Note: For subdomains to resolve, your domain's DNS must be managed by Hostinger, or you must add the DNS record manually at your registrar. See DNS Management.
