You can't lose even a single Wee Birdee when carrying them to Big Birdee. Proceed very carefully. You can't help carrying them into battle, so fight cautiously.
— Daroach, in Kirby Mass Attack

Wee Birdee is a baby Birdee, specifically a chick of Big Birdee, which appears in Kirby Mass Attack. There are six of them, and the Kirbys rescue them from the Gegs and carry them to their mother in Sandy Canyon - Stage 11. This done successfully, Big Birdee and most of the smaller Birdees become allies of the Kirbys, helping them throughout the rest of the game.

If a Kirby holding a Wee Birdee is KO'd, the Wee Birdee will fly to another Kirby who is not holding anything. If every Kirby's hands are full, the stage will end in a Game Over.
