- This article is about the Battle Stage in Kirby Fighters 2, and should not be confused with any other form of tutorial or training.
Training is a Battle Stage that appears in Kirby Fighters 2. It is based on the tutorial area shown in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, using its general appearance. It is used as the training room for Kirby Fighters 2, in addition to being available as a regular stage.
Layout[edit]
Training is a completely flat stage with no obstacles or stage hazards. It is decently large in size, allowing a fair amount of room for maneuvering.
The stage takes place in a basic room with walls and floors marked with a simple blue and white checkerboard pattern. It is by far the simplest-looking stage in the game.
Unlock requirements[edit]
In Kirby Fighters 2, Training is available from the start. Its secret song is unlocked upon attaining a Fighters Rank of 98.
Origin[edit]

In Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, there is a tutorial video which will run if the player requests it upon starting a new game. This video takes place in a blue checkered area and demonstrates all of Kirby's basic controls.
Trivia[edit]
- The tutorial videos in Kirby and the Forgotten Land take place in this training area. Certain videos in the game's "Ask the Developer" interview use this room to demonstrate debug features, so it was presumably also used for testing during the game's development.
- The tutorial videos present in Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler in Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe take place in a very similar area, but with a different color to the checkerboard patterns.
