Kimulo's Attempts at Figuring Out How To Use This Properly

Streetpass Gardening Gameplay Draft 1 (WIP)

(brief warning i use the european names because thats what i play with!) When you first start the game, Mr. Mendel gives you a choice of 3 seeds to grow your first plant.

You can grow plants through your Streetpass hits, as the Miis gathered will water your plant. It takes approximately 6 hits to bring a plant from a seed to a fully grown plant. After that, if both your plant and the other Mii's plant are fully grown, they will pollinate each other and you will get a seed. If both plants are not fully grown, nothing happens. Plants will normally have 10 seeds, although there are times where they instead may have as little as 4 seeds.

Seeds will normally inherit traits from both parent plants (like flower type, colour, and stem type). However, there are two events that may occur that don't follow this rule.

  • Diverging: There isn't a specific set of circumstances to be met for this. Diverging is when a seed grows into a plant breed different from both its parents. Seeds that are highly likely to diverge will glow, although non-glowing seeds can still diverge. Colour and stem type are both inherited.
  • Phantom Plants: You can get a seed that might grow into a Phantom Plant if you encounter the same Mii twice (known in this game as a Plant Pal), although they don't need Streetpass Gardening for the first encounter. (work in progress - im still working my way through the game! ill write more when i get some progress on this)

You can also try to increase the chances of getting a certain colour by asking a Mii to plant a seed with you. The plant will then have a higher chance of blooming in the Mii's favourite colour.

Miitopia "Mii usage" section draft

Hey everyone, looks like it's time for another Logangsta Mii sandbox! Seeing as we have well over 60 Miis that are tied to the 3DS and Nintendo Switch versions of Miitopia, it looks like we need a section to mention them all in. Of course, not all of the Miis mentioned here will be in high detail (e.g. Switch demo Miis), but we will need to have the relevant page links set up here. Miis such as the Dummy and trailer ones will receive their full coverage here however. Please, feel free to help out, and leave feedback as needed. Happy editing! --Logangsta (talk) 02:39, 6 June 2025 (UTC)

Islander Mini-Game page revamp draft

Image
A Mii in the mood to play an islander mini-game in Tomodachi Collection.
Image
This article or section is under construction. Therefore, please excuse its informal appearance while it's being worked on. We hope to have it completed as soon as possible.
Reason: Living the Dream is starting to be released globally, information from the game will be added soon.

Islander Mini-Games are featured in the Tomodachi Life series. When a Mii wants to play a game, their window will be marked with a green icon. When the player enters the Mii's apartment, the Mii will ask the player to play a mini-game with them, which they can either accept or deny. If the player agrees, a randomized mini-game will begin. Winning the mini-game will allow the player to choose a random treasure from three boxes of different sizes, while losing will cause the Mii to give them either a box of tissues or toilet paper. In Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream, mini-game requests are represented with green bursts of lines, the Mii will immediately announce what mini-game they're going to play, and the Mii will stop asking the player to play when the player turns down their request.

Occasionally, after gifting a Mii something or solving their problem while interacting with them in their apartment, they will say "Since you're already here, let's play a game!" (US) or "Seeing as you're here, let's play!" (EU), which will also prompt the player to start a mini-game.

Mini-game list

Standard mini-games

Name Image Description Appears in Rules
Butt-Writing Quiz Image Choose a correct answer from the four choices. Can you answer all three questions? Tomodachi Collection The Mii traces characters that spell out the name of a food, and the player must pick which item is being spelled out from four choices. There are three questions given, and on the third, the Mii will try to distract the player by talking about something else.

Take turns picking a card from your opponent's hand. The first to make a pair wins! (Life, US)

Tomodachi Collection, Tomodachi Life The player holds a single two card (a king in the European versions), and the Mii holds two cards, one being another two card and the other a joker (another king and a two of hearts in the European versions). To win, the player must pick the other two/king in order to hold them both. If they pick the joker/two of hearts, the Mii then gets to pick from their hand. The player can swipe up on a card to trick the Mii into trying to select it. This continues until one of the players has both twos/kings in their hand.
Catch Image If you catch the item before it hits the floor, you get to keep it as a prize! If you miss, you get... Disappointment. (US)

You get to keep the item if you catch it before it hits the floor! You lose if you don't! (EU)

Tomodachi Life The Mii is preparing to drop a small treasure and the player has to catch it. The Mii will frequently try to trick and distract the player by rambling, starting a countdown, looking away, or attaching the item to a string. If the player manages to catch the item, they will receive it as their prize. The player has only two chances to catch the item.

When they say "Red Light!" they will turn around to look at the player. If the player is moving when the Mii looks at them, they lose. To win, the player must move close enough to touch the Mii before time runs out while not being caught. In Living the Dream, the Mii may additionally fake out by immediately turning at the player again right after turning back.
