The Activity Log and Daily Log are built-in applications for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U respectively, releasing alongside their systems. The software is used to check the play time of the user's library of games and other applications.
Mii usage
Miis appear in both the Activity Log and Daily Log as a profile icon. In Activity Log, the user's Mii appears in a photograph, with the pose changing depending on the player's menu navigation. The log also tracks how many steps the user has taken in a day, which determines how many Play Coins they earn.[1] In Daily Log, the user's Mii appears on the top, detailing their individual play time. Additionally, different registered users can be toggled between each other's accounts in the software, switching which user's Mii profile they can view by pressing the 
button. Both applications support and record data from every compatible game on their respective systems, including all Mii-related software.
