The Master of Arms (Japanese: 兵法者 Heihousya) is an advanced class debuting in Fire Emblem Fates. The class has access to all three basic physical weapon types of Hoshido: katana, naginata, and clubs. It is a promotion option available to Samurai and Villagers.

Compared to Swordmasters, Masters of Arms trade some speed and skill for more power, bulk, and versatility. Similar to the Great Knight class, the ability of being able to use three weapon types makes Masters of Arms effective in combat, as they can pick the right weapon type to use depending on the opponent.
