The Team

Established in 1992, The Rice Owls Dance Team proudly represents Rice Athletics at games, campus events, and in the community. Our team is dedicated to promoting school spirit, supporting Rice traditions, and performing with excellence throughout the year.

Team members perform at football, basketball, and other university events while also serving as ambassadors for the program on campus and beyond. Additionally, at the end of the spring semester, the team performs a variety of other styles and choreography in our annual Spring Showcase.

We value teamwork, leadership, strong performance quality, and a positive team culture. Through performance, service, and school pride, the Rice Owls Dance Team strives to represent the university with energy, professionalism, and spirit.
