A 72 km² piece of glacier is currently drifting in Canadian waters! In August, a huge ice mass broke off from the Petermann Glacier in northwest Greenland. For now, it continues its journey south towards Baffin Bay.

That’s a wrap on STRATOS 2026! 🎈Seven teams of students and researchers from across Canada sent experiments 35 km above Earth, gaining hands-on experience in design, testing, launch and recovery. Congratulations to everyone who took part! Canada’s future in space is looking up.
