Aug 23 early afternoon- Watching 2 areas that could become tropical depressions (TDs) this week. The system SE of Bermuda (#AL95) has a 40% chance of developing into a TD within 2 days, and the tropical Atlantic system has a 50% chance of becoming a TD mid- to-late week.

A Flood Watch is in effect from Tuesday morning through Wednesday morning. Rounds of showers & t-storms will move across the area. 2-5" of rain are forecast, with locally higher amounts possible, especially in the Lower Hudson Valley, interior SW CT, and NE NJ.
