I"m going to keep this brief. Didn't think this would happen. Grew content in that. My wife, parents, family, Co-Workers(that knew) saw what I didn't. Thank you. As an educator I felt like I didn't belong at times.. which is why I always pushed for the underdog, out of the box learning & doing what others wouldn't for the sake of our future. May 7th
I am nearing the completion of my Master’s in Educational Leadership at Wayne State University, and this season has been one of reflection, growth, and purpose. Every late night, every challenge, and every moment of perseverance has shaped me into the leader I am becoming.
As a double first-generation graduate, this milestone represents more than a degree. It reflects resilience, commitment, and a responsibility to lead with intention—especially for the students and communities I serve.
I’m not finished yet, but I’m close—and I’m walking into this next chapter with clarity, gratitude, and vision.
