Accelerator for leadership talents
All about talents
We train the leaders of tomorrow. Doctoral students in computer science carry out research projects as project leaders together with a company, build up new knowledge on management and leadership in training courses and are accompanied by experienced managers in mentoring. This prepares them for leadership positions or starting their own company.

Voices from the program
At the Software Campus, we work with top talents on ground-breaking research projects. It's a great opportunity, on the one hand, to explore Horizon 3 topics and, on the other hand, attract talented people to ZEISS! Simultaneously, we continue to expand our academic network and strengthen Germany's power to innovate sustainably.
Dr. Max F. Riedel Head of ZEISS Innovation Hub @ KIT
Thanks to Software Campus, I've had the opportunity to connect with and build lasting friendships with fellow Ph.D. students from across Germany who share my interests. Moreover, in contrast to exclusively concentrating on theoretical research, Software Campus equips us for life beyond our Ph.D. studies by offering diverse training opportunities and fostering collaboration with partner companies.
Anum Afzal Participant, PhD candidate at TU Munich
To me, it is very exciting to witness how outstanding scientists develop themselves when they are confronted with business-relevant problems and responsibilities within Software Campus.
Prof. Jerónimo Castrillón Chair for Compiler Construction, TU Dresden
The Software Campus laid the foundation for my leadership skills. In various seminars, one's own strengths and weaknesses were openly revealed - I learned a lot from that.
