Yes. The RPGJS engine remains open source under the MIT license. You can build with code for free, with or without Studio.

What does the Studio license unlock?

The lifetime license unlocks the cloud workspace: unlimited maps, game database tools, events, asset generation, RPGJS-compatible exports, 10 GB of storage, and 500 AI credits included at purchase.

Do I have to use RPGJS as the final engine?

No. Studio can export a project compatible with RPGJS, with offline or online data. You own the final game and can continue outside the editor whenever you want.

How do coding agents work with Studio?
