Fuck AI@lemmy.world•Report: Meta will train AI agents by tracking employees' mouse, keyboard use... AI usage goals among some employees...

Buy European@feddit.uk•Suggestions for music streaming service?English
1·9 days agoAt the first glance Qobuz seems to be the obvious answer. I tried it for a couple of months at the start of the year however and couldn’t make the recommendation algorithm work for me. Also some features like lyrics are missing, while others like the magazine are not interesting to me, however they take up almost all of the homepage of the app.
I have since switched to Deezer (despite the American majority ownership) and it has been a much better experience. I think it’s the right balance.

So shouldn’t the link be removed outright instead of asking?

Cannot believe I lived long enough to see this happening. Here we go for waiting two more years for it to become GA.

Europe@feddit.org•Von der Leyen uses Orbán defeat to push for end of veto in EU foreign policyEnglish
2·18 days agoI unfortunately think there are many more both western and eastern countries that would veto this. It’s a bit paradoxical as the biggest reason to take it away (Orban) is gone. And no, our leaders cannot think beyond the four years of their mandates.

Those things being high in EU scale does not equate Sweden to the US. Sweden is still a lot closer to the rest of the EU in these regards compared to the US. And you cannot deduce Sweden is a mini US based on those two factors only.

Europe@feddit.org•Sweden to deport migrants not following ‘honest living’English
1·1 month agoI think they would’ve postponed it until after the elections like they’ve done with taking back permanent residencies if they were not all behind it. DN says “Regeringen går vidare med förslaget om vandelsprövning för uppehållstillstånd”, which is why this is in the news again, it’s very unlikely that at this stage a party backs out.

3·1 month agoIt has plenty of time to pass, the new citizenship laws are also slated to start going into effect on national day (June 6th) even though they’ve not passed yet. Passing the Riksdag ia a formality when the government has a majority.
which means support will not be unanimous within the government coalition.
Wrong conclusion if you ask me.

4·2 months agoI don’t imagine many people would opt in to this. Even if you bother to click on the notification for setting it up, the multi-step wizard warns you enough times about the risks of enabling this feature that most would just leave it disabled.

I guess their flags are close enough.
