The Democratic Party has shown time and time again that they are willing to vote in line with the people if and only if their vote doesn’t change the outcome.

I’ll believe their votes on Israel mean anything when their votes – well – mean anything for the result.

It was safe to vote in order to appease the voters without actually doing anything because they knew the Republicans would shut it down.

If the vote were closer and couldn’t survive Democratic unanimity, just enough of the rotating selection would oppose it to keep it from passing while the rest saved face.

I was 5 when Pokemon came to the US, so I don’t think it’s fair to say I remember a world before Pokemon. I have memories from before 5 sure, but nothing that counts as knowing what the world was like. And that’s not even counting hearing about Pokemon from my Japanese cousins before it came here.

I also don’t think it’s fair to say I can’t understand how amazing Pokemon are when those games dominated my whole childhood.

That’s almost a litmus test for the Millennial/Gen Z border (for the US at least). Usually remembering 9/11 means you’re more on the Millennial side. Though generations are fuzzy and ill-defined.

My ire against Trump is that the pedo rapist isn’t rotting in prison for the rest of his life, and this entire conversation was started by someone insinuating Kamala would have done something about it. The Democrats, particularly the executive leader for 4 years, did nothing with this evidence to root out the pedo rapist ring. My ire against Biden and the Democrats is that they were the only thing that could stand in the way of the fascist takeover they helped facilitate back in 2016 (Trump was Hillary’s pied piper). So am I mad at the Republicans and Trump? Of course, they’re pure evil. But I’m not ideologically aligned with them in the slightest. The Democrats claim to be ideologically aligned with me but never act on it, taking away my only sector of representation in our government. So yeah, I direct my ire at the group that is supposed to be doing something about this and chooses not to.

In the meantime, any semblance of criticism against the Democrats is always met with assholes like you who can’t stand anyone calling out the ineffective controlled opposition.

I’m not talking about these specific files, I’m talking about the whole thing. Which we can all see with our own eyes right now. You don’t need to trust me on anything, if you assert that the Biden administration did its job on this case, you need to prove that.
