Look, not everyone has the desire and capability to fight. I will say that I’ve had good success these last few years being vulnerable with other “woke” men and it’s been very freeing to share things I thought I experienced alone but to see that other men have gone through similar things.

I haven’t had a lot of success being vulnerable with women, but I’m getting to the point where that is a boundary for me. I’m not going to pursue friendships with people who can’t accept me for who I am and who reinforce toxic gender roles.

I’ve personally witnessed a lot of progress on this end and I’m excited to seeing more and being part of it when I can.

To summarize: Louisiana created new district maps that ensued racial minorities had representation commensurate with their population. The Supreme Court said that it was racist to give racial minorities meaningful votes.

The beauty of it is that the only other who would explicitly use race data in election maps would do it to ensure equity. People who gerrymander to deprive minorities of vote don’t mention that. So this ruling can only undermine minority representation efforts and can in no way help.

Sure, it’s a contributor, everything is a contributor. But the main thing is that young men aren’t dying like they used to in the past. That’s the primary mechanism skewing gender fertility ratios. Sex selective abortions are relevant in some countries to some extent, but globally are almost nothing. It’s a red herring.

When you have 5 extra boys born for every 100 girls the default position is there are more reproductive aged men than women. The fact we haven’t had that has been because young boys and men disproportionately died compared to young girls and women globally. Modern medicine, laws, and general peace in most of the world has stopped that trend.

Sure some countries have SOME effect caused by gender discrimination, but gender discrimination before birth is in no way a globally significant contributor to excess males at birth.

I love the idea. The math works out a bit different though. After 100 days it’s a 63% chance of getting caught so the fine would be 100/0.63= 159 million plus the additional fee. After 1 day the fine would be 1 million /0.01= 100 million plus the additional fee.

I love the actuarial precision of the fine so that all the probability of profit is priced in. Calculating that probability will be complex though because they could argue there is a 100% chance of getting caught after you caught them lol.
