ARTICLE 8.03 WEAPONS

It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person to shoot any pistol, rifle or shotgun for pleasure or sport within the corporate limits of the city except in a shooting gallery or other such place wherein proper and efficient backstops have been installed for protection of human life and personal injury. Shooting at birds with target rifles is especially prohibited.

Any person who shall violate any provision of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by fine as provided for in the general penalty provision found in section 1.01.009 of this code.
