Any person, company or entity violating the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not exceeding five hundred and no/100 dollars ($500.00).

No person, company or entity shall be authorized to install or maintain any state-regulated fire extinguisher system, fire vent hood system, and/or other fire suppression system inside the city limits unless licensed by the state to do so.

Only currently licensed individuals shall be allowed to install or maintain fire extinguisher systems, fire vent hood systems and/or other fire suppression systems inside the city limits and, when asked, shall produce a current license from the state fire marshal’s office showing competency in such activities.
