It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, society, club or corporation to hold a public dance or public ball within the limits of the City of Pittston without having first obtained a permit therefor from the Mayor. The Mayor may designate the City Code Enforcement Officer to enforce this chapter.

The City Council shall set the fee for such permits by resolution and may exempt nonprofits from payment of said fee.
