Guys I have a confession
On my first Witcher 3 playthrough I romanced Triss, but then when she was leaving with the boat I didn't tell her to stay because I thought she will die so I just romanced Yennefer. IMO I played the perfect book accurate Geralt playthrough with this.
people are getting increasingly parasocial and treat liking/hating certain characters as a form of activism. they can't distinguish fiction from reality, so they also assume that anyone who can engage with problematic characters must agree with their immoral actions.
