This year, more than 430 artists opened their studios during the weekend of May 2-3 at more than 120 locations across the city of Somerville. Thanks to all who attended!
While this year’s open studios are now past, our artist directory remains online throughout the year. The SOS artist directory is the number one source for finding Somerville-based visual artists.
RE-discovering Somerville Open Studios
RE-discovering Somerville Open Studios is an exhibit featuring artwork by SOS artists, photos of SOS artists in their studio spaces, and vintage SOS posters, now on view at Somerville City Hall, 93 Highland Avenue. The show is co-curated by Somerville Open Studios and the Somerville Arts Council as part of a new Community Collections series.
You can see this exhibit during regular City Hall business hours: Monday-Wednesday 8:30am – 4:30pm; Thursday 8:30am-7:30 pm; Friday 8:30am-12:30pm. It will be on display through June 2026.
