  • USPEX (Universal Structure Predictor: Evolutionary Xtallography)
    A computational platform developed by the Oganov group for predicting crystal structures and their physical properties using evolutionary algorithms.

  • Mindat.org
    Mindat.org hosts the world’s most comprehensive database of mineral localities, along with mineral properties, photographs, and an alternative interface for accessing RRUFF data.

  • RamanLab: Comprehensive Python-based application for peak fitting, database management, cluster analysis, and 2D mapping. Reference: Celestian, 2025.

Analytical tools

 

These are external tools that can be used to analyze the types of data that are in the RRUFF project

  • RamanCrystalHunter:
    Program that allows users to process their Raman spectra using a variety of methods including, baseline corrections, smoothing, normalization, Raman shift calibration, add/subtract/replace functions, derivative determination, fitting and spectrum ID via comparison with a independent, integrated Raman database (RCHDB).   • Razor spectroscopy spectral library:
