Big Mildes[1] are larger Mildes that appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its Game Boy Advance version, and Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. They originally appeared as part of the fight against Marching Milde. They pop in two Hefty Mildes if a Yoshi ground-pounds on one.
Big Mildes appear in the Milde Habitat of the Mountaintops, the second chapter of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book.[2] They emerge from large pools when various Mildes are popped nearby, and can be split into several Mildes and a Hefty Milde when being Ground Pounded. An even larger variant of these Mildes, known as the Mega Milde, also appears, being able to be spawned from a giant pool at the bottom of a volcano.
