Accessibility on Cambridge One

At Cambridge University Press & Assessment (‘Cambridge’), we want everyone who visits Cambridge One to feel welcome, find the experience rewarding and find the learning materials accessible. We are committed to making Cambridge One as accessible as possible. To help us make it a positive place for everyone, we've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). The target for Cambridge One is level AA and we are currently actively working on implementing the guidelines.

How we test this website

This website undergoes regular testing against the above guidelines by development and quality assurance teams. Working with our own accessibility specialists, any actions derived from the testing are taken and prioritized into our future work.

This website was last tested in March 2026 against the WCAG [2.2 ] AA standard.

The test was carried out by Digital Accessibility Centre (DAC), an organization which tests apps and websites to ensure compliance with web standards. The most viewed pages were tested using accessibility testing tools by our website team. A further audit of the website was carried out to the WCAG 2.2 AA standard.

As a result of this testing, we are currently working on updating all our Accessibility documentation and we will provide an updated VPAT for Ventures 4th Edition in May 2026.
