The AIAS Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), is excited to award seven scholarships to outstanding students and early professionals who are dedicating their careers to the advancement of the video game industry.
The scholarship winners will each receive either a $2,000 tuition reimbursement for students or a travel stipend to a video games conference for early professionals, be paired with an industry mentor, and participate in a professional training and networking opportunity at the 2027 D.I.C.E. Summit and 30th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards show.
Take a look inside the AIAS Foundation Scholar experience. This past year’s cohort enjoyed one-on-one mentorship with industry professionals, exclusive in-person and virtual workshops, access to the alumni Discord community, and an all-expenses paid trip to the #DICE2026 Summit & Awards.
Game Maker’s Sketchbook, the annual celebration of artistry in interactive entertainment, powered by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), iam8bit, and fortyseven communications, has revealed the official selections for its fifth annual showcase. Honoring the imagination, craftsmanship, visual storytelling and creativity in the beautiful interactive surfaces and game worlds that players love, this year’s collection invites fans and collectors alike to celebrate the enduring power of art in and around games. The works are now available to view through the Game Maker’s Sketchbook online gallery and will also be exhibited during Summer Game Fest: Play Days from Saturday, June 6 through Monday, June 8, 2026 in Los Angeles, CA.
