Design in Affinity, keep it moving in DaVinci Resolve
DaVinci Resolve now supports native Affinity .af files, so your designs move straight into professional video editing without the usual file gymnastics. Plus, when you update and save the .af file in Affinity, DaVinci Resolve automatically refreshes the track elements and displays the change live.

FAQs
DaVinci Resolve now supports .af files natively. You can import a multi-layer Affinity file directly into DaVinci Resolve's Media Pool, view it in the viewer, add it to a timeline, and have individual layers extract to separate tracks. When you update and save the .af file in Affinity, DaVinci Resolve automatically refreshes the track elements and displays the change live.
The Capture One and DaVinci Resolve integrations are free with Affinity. Note that DaVinci Resolve and Capture One have their own separate pricing plans and offerings.
Capture One now supports the .af file format. You can select an image in Capture One and open it directly in Affinity in one click – everything travels with your selection: layers, masks, annotations, overlays, guides and watermarks.
It's an MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration that connects Affinity to Claude, allowing pro creatives to automate repetitive production tasks and build entirely custom workflows through natural language – no coding required.
You can use it to:
