Master Hand is a mid-boss in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror who originates from the Super Smash Bros. series, where he appears as a boss. He is a large, disembodied white glove, capable of performing physical and magical attacks which are very similar to those in his home series. When defeated, Master Hand provides Kirby with the Smash Bros. ability if inhaled and swallowed.
For the most part, Master Hand's attacks strongly resemble those from his appearances in the Super Smash Bros. series, including shooting finger bullets and thrusting his fist forward. However, these attacks, for the most part, feature notable differences (including flaming bullets and a transformation into stone), and he is comparatively smaller.

Kirby & The Amazing Mirror[edit]
Master Hand debuts as a mid-boss in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, where he appears very rarely. In Boss Endurance, he also appears alone in the green mid-boss group (alongside Batafire and Boxy).

| Stone Punch | Master Hand clenches into a fist and hovers in the air, moving towards Kirby's position. He then hardens into stone and slams into the ground, creating two Dropped Stars (which can be inhaled for Stone). Name derived from that of a similar attack in Super Smash Bros. Melee.

| Finger Bullet | Master Hand makes a finger gun gesture and fires 2–3 volleys of flaming bullets at Kirby. These volleys can be inhaled for Burning. Name taken from that of a similar attack in Super Smash Bros..

Kirby: Planet Robobot[edit]
While Master Hand does not appear physically in Kirby: Planet Robobot, he is depicted on a sticker (with his artwork from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror). Additionally, he is also depicted holding the Super Smash Bros. symbol in a rare Stone sculpture.
Kirby's Dream Buffet[edit]
In Kirby's Dream Buffet, Master Hand is depicted on the Character Treat "Pixel Master Hand", which features his sprite from Kirby & The Amazing Mirror.
Trivia[edit]
- Interestingly, the glove that appears when getting a Game Over in several Kirby games is internally referred to as "Master Hand", starting in Kirby's Return to Dream Land. However, this glove has never been named outside of internal data, and Master Hand is listed as only appearing in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror in Kirby Character Encyclopedia.[1]
