"Interview" is a theme from Kirby and the Forgotten Land and its Nintendo Switch 2 edition. It was composed by Yuki Shimooka.[1]
Composition[edit]
"Interview" is a slow, triumphant theme in C Major, and given its instrumental choices and the context in which it plays, is easily likened to "The Victor Shines" from Kirby's Return to Dream Land, another results theme. The flute leading the melody forward quotes the beginning of "Running Through the New World", while the horns in the background quote the "New horizon" line from the beginning of "Welcome to the New World!". After a few repetitions of these distinct melodies, soft bells and sparkling sounds transition the track into another slightly-altered line of "Welcome to the New World!" this time being "No one can hold you back". While that quote gets shifted onto the lead strings, the background brass is relegated to repeating the previously-mentioned beginning of "Running Through the New World" before the song loops.

In Kirby and the Forgotten Land and its Nintendo Switch 2 edition, "Interview" can be heard on the results screen after clearing the Meta Knight Cup and The Ultimate Cup in the Colosseum. It can also be listened to at the Waddle Live! Corner Stage as track number 040.
