Carpa is a fish-like enemy from Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. He is usually seen riding up waterfalls while staying in place, but may also be seen slowly swimming up or down it. If the water is blocked via rainbow rope, the Carpa will fall onto solid ground and start flopping around aimlessly. In the latter state, they are easily defeated by Kirby's Touch Dash or Waddle Dee's spear. Carpa are usually seen carrying items, including Point Stars, Food, and Treasure Chests. Carpa are worth 100 points and 3 Point Stars when defeated.

In Story Mode, Carpa appears exclusively in the Great Cave Escape stage. Carpa can also be found in a few Challenge Mode stages.

Trivia[edit]

  • Carpa's flavor text is a reference to the legend about about how carps that leaped over the Dragon Gate would become dragons.
