Ich habe jetzt etwa einen Monat gebraucht, um mit der Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super B die 36 Fotos auf dem Film voll zu bekommen. Heute habe ich den Film abgegeben und gleich wieder nachgelegt, dieses Mal ein Schwarzweißfilm.
Nach zwei Wochen kann ich die entwickelten Fotos abholen, vielleicht habe ich den nächsten Film bis dahin auch voll.
Zum Vergleich: Mit Handy und Digitalkamera habe ich dieses Jahr schon mehrere tausende Fotos gemacht. Analog macht es aber einfach mehr Spaß.

Currently I am trying FluffyChat on Android as an alternative for Element.
The chat experience feels way better, performance is fine and notifications are instant (using ntfy, last time I tried it didn't work at all but now it seems to be fixed).
But calls don't work for me, not even audio. Video calls currently are in a beta phase but at least having audio would be fine.
Overall: FluffyChat may not be feature complete but still is awesome!
Debian 11 reached EOL about two weeks ago. I ran a Raspberry Pi 4 at home using that version (or Raspbian) until an hour ago. Upgraded to Debian 12 Bookworm and some minutes later I upgraded to Debian 13 Trixie.
Everything worked well, no issues. Awesome!
Zu müde für etwas Produktives, aber zu wach für Fernsehen auf der Couch.

Nach den ersten Prognosen müssen wir erst mal an die frische Luft, das ist ja echt heftig...
I'm going on vacation next month.
This means:
- Got myself a UPS for my servers at home.
- Wrote a script for notification and shutdown.
- Found the JetKVM ATX extension board again which I gonna install tonight.
- And then: test run...
Oh and also have to make sure the VPN is working fine, don't know how to turn on the server again without. Or maybe just send a magic packet from a Raspberry Pi every minute?
Okay just one last episode of X-Files and then I'll return to doing important stuff aka writing some ansible playbooks...

We had a nice walk at the North Sea (Lüttmoorsiel) today. The Sheep have been talking a lot 🐑 but everything else was nice and quiet.

Bin nicht so oft in Hamburg und zeitlich war nicht viel mehr drin, aber hat mich trotzdem gefreut.
Flensburg bei Nacht - habe gestern zum ersten mal bei Nacht mit einem kleinen Stativ fotografiert.
While watching the Perseids yesterday I took some photos with my Nikon Z50II and a Viltrox 9mm F2.8 lens which I later stacked using Siril.
I am a complete amateur on this field but still quite happy with the result!
Gestern Abend konnten wir noch ein paar Perseiden sehen, sehr hübsch anzusehen, aber auf dem Foto kommt die Sternschnuppe kaum rüber.
Ausgehend von der Mitte ein klein wenig nach rechts unten, der Schweif ist leich grünlich.
Zwischen 23:00 und 23:30 haben wir etwa 6-7 größere Sternschnuppen gesehen, später wären es sicherlich noch mehr geworden. Heute Abend dürfte es schon weniger werden nehme ich an.
Hat jemand in #Flensburg eine Idee, wo man noch spontan 1-2 Brillen für die Sonnenfinsternis herbekommt? Hat vielleicht jemand ein 10er Pack gekauft und möchte eine weiterveräußern ;-) ?
Today my father gave me his uncle's SLR camara, a Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super B.
I thought it was lost and he took it back to US about 30 years ago but he left it at my parents house. Bought in the early 60s in Hamburg he took many photos in Germany and especially in US, mostly around Philadelphia were he has been living.
This was the first camera I have been using to do astrophotography as a child, awesome!
Everything seems to work, it just needs a bit cleaning. For cleaning and greasing the lens I don't have enough experience yet, I first have to try with a few other cameras.
Even the selenium based light meter still works!

Today I haved picked up my photos after waiting for them to be developed for 2 weeks.
I haven't done analog photography for about 25 years and it even has been the first time doing that without program automatic or auto focus, everything had to be done manually. Even the Selenium light meter didn't work anymore so I set aperture and exposure based on some tables I found somewhere.
Most photos turned out to be okay, a few are even quite good and a few are blurred or too dark.
But I am really happy with the results! Many thanks to the previous owner who kept the camera (Voigtländer Vitoret L) in such a good condition!
