Hi! This is the main Fediverse account of a blog about LINux on MOBile devices – linmob.net. It's has been restarted in 2020 because of the PinePhone and continues to report the news on Mobian, postmarketOS, Sailfish OS, Ubuntu Touch and the hardware these alternative operating systems run on.

I just cancelled the train and hotel I had booked to attend FrOSCon this weekend. It's just not possible.. and it suuuucks! I love my son, but I'd also would have really loved to talk to non-babies about something I care deeply about. Have a great conference!

I have good news and bad news.
Good news: My son has been born this week. He's wonderful, his mom's more than awesome (the birth (and aftermath) wasn't easymode, I'll not share further details other then that I have been full of joy but also really fearful at times, but German healthcare, at least where we live, is excellent).

Bad news: No weekly #MobileLinux update tonight/this week, and likely not for a bit - can't quite say, it really depends on how well we adjust to this new life.

(So if you always wanted to do something similar/better, go ahead!)
