The Bridge Key (Japanese: はね橋のカギ Drawbridge Key) is a key-type item introduced in Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. It can be used once by any unit to unlock and release drawbridges, in order to allow units to cross the bridge; without using a Bridge Key, only Thieves can otherwise unlock drawbridges, either through use of a Lockpick or an innate class ability, depending on the game.
