The cascading protection locks the templates used in the documentation.
The cascading protection also locks {{documentation|Template:source/doc}}, affecting many irrelevant templates (such as {{range}}).
{{dcl}} uses <noinclude> to wrap the documentation, so {{documentation|Template:dcl/doc}} is not affected. We should take that approach. --Xmcgcg (talk) 22:50, 28 August 2023 (PDT)
