To talk about discovering where a thing or person is or how to obtain or achieve something, don't say 'find out', say find:

Yesterday, I found out a new shop that I'm sure you'd like.
Yesterday, I found a new shop that I'm sure you'd like.
To talk about getting information about something, or learning a piece of information for the first time, say find out.
Find out is followed by 'about', 'that', or a question word:
She'll be absolutely thrilled when she finds out about our surprise.
I just found out that a new shop has opened on my street.
The report aims to find out why people are unhappy at work.
