I think Tim touched on this in the recent AMA. It's something we want to support. Just a matter of when we can dedicate the time and resources (we have very little to spare of each!)
As you mentioned, there's a group playing fun custom 2v2 maps in our Discord. I'm sure they'd love to have you join them.
Please try it out. It’s free to play the first few missions and we would appreciate you taking a look at the hard work the team has put into the campaign.

The full Ashes of Earth campaign is available for $25 USD (or the equivalent in your local currency after Steam's exchange rates are applied.)
We are working to add the Ashes of Earth campaign pack to the Steam storefront so that it's more visible and can also be gifted to friends.

Read moreHi Bleord. If you still can, I recommend that you refund the Deluxe Edition bundle and instead purchase the Ashes of Earth campaign directly from the in-game store; it's $25 USD.
We are also working on getting that $25 campaign pack onto the Steam storefront. That requires a few steps to complete, including Valve approval, so we don't have an ETA, but we're working on it.
Most of all, we are incredibly grateful for any and all purchases that players have made, and we're sorry about any confusion or frustration with how these options are presented.
Its baffling to me that they dont have a simpler bundle for just buying the whole vanguard campaign. I dont know what the point of the basic or deluxe bundles is supposed to be right now....

Wait wait wait wait... I just got to the Steam page: You need 60€ to access to just 10 missions? If you take the cheaper packs (25 and 40€) it's only 3 missions? What the hell is going on?

Do you have the steam overlay disabled? You need to have it enabled for microtransactions.
