This is a Unity bug, seems after the latest minor Unity update our workaround for it might not work anymore, we'll check.

This seems to be a migration issue, we're already working on a fix.

//EDIT: Seems to also happen on new worlds in specific circumstances, but is unrelated to the invisible block / object placement issues from last patch, but a specific problem with pots. Will be fixed.

We're unfortunately not able to reproduce what you experience - the achievement triggers correctly in each attempt we have tried. So far also no other reports about this achievement and it was achieved by people in the meanwhile as well as per our data. Maybe there is an issue with the world you are attempting to get it on. Could you please provide us the save file for the world where you expected to get the achievement attributed to Steam retroactively? Please send it to [email protected], if so.

we have just released Maintenance Update 12.0.4 with the following changes:

Animals:
  • Changed: Predators hunting prey will now flee if their prey is still alive after a couple of successful attacks.

  • Fixed: Animals died instantly when touching water.

  • Fixed: Wolves were hard to hit reliably with arrows.

  • Fixed: Elks sometimes didn't drop a carcass when killed.

  • Fixed: Players couldn't pick up carcasses from animals that weren't killed by them.

  • Fixed: Animals could sometimes get stuck in the ground.

  • Fixed: Dead animals sometimes appeared alive for other clients.

  • Fixed:...

Back when this post was written more than six years ago the Steam Engine actually produced Electrical Power, this was changed a while ago.

To avoid further confusion, I'm locking this thread.

While that might change in the future, we don't have any current plans for Steam Deck support. (The current rating is from Steam itself, we didn't do any active optimizations for it)

We do plan to make some improvements to controls in the future however, which might indirectly improve what you seek for. However, that is not going to be very soon either, unfortunately.

This is not a bug, I noted this works as intended and that there is the possibility of us revisiting that behaviour later in development, not that "anything was supposed to be done".

Also, this thread is more than three years old, hence locking it.

This should now be resolved. Note it may take a while until the change is effective on Steam.

We assume that is a caching issue, nothing hints at 100 at Polymath anymore.

This works as expected with Update 12, however we may refine and make the ground requirement more flexible in a future update to allow solutions like this one again - that would however need notable changes to the system.

Wouldn't wall mounted chests be an intermediate solution?

This is not a bug, this is the result of a bug being fixed as per the update notes:
Fixed: The stack size multiplier was applied twice to stockpiles. (This could lead to stacks that no longer fit into the stockpile to be moved to the void storage on migration - in that case, please have the owner of the stockpile check the swirly SLG icon in the bottom right, to the left of the minimap area to get the items back.)

Originally posted by 2005Guyver02: I had the Stack size in the world set to 5x to get the same amount of stack size in the storage I now have to increase the Stack size to 25x (Looks like someone still got their maths wrong, or it's the usual problem with C#: C# can't count for ...

You need to prepare a shaft of the correct size, then place the elevator.

You should be able to recycle it, at which point the blueprint is no longer used and you can create a new one. (In technical detail it's one existing per unique world)

The purchases are for your account, the limited uses are per unique world.
If you buy one blueprint, you can use it once on every unique world.

If the respective lines aren't contained in your WorldGenerator.eco, your world unfortunately was indeed generated with an outdated worldgen and cannot be fixed without generating a new world after deleting the WorldGenerator.eco file.

The local server is not correctly updated. Remove the __core__ folder and let Steam verify files.
