About Me

Hey there, nice to meet you, I’m Marid; a programmer with experience in building data-intensive services and distributed systems. I’ve also got a keen interest in human-oriented design and UX in general; over the past few years, I’ve been digging deeper into the way language and meaning operate, with a hope that this might culminate into a programming language project of my own – but that’s a story for another time.

I’m currently working at reMarkable, helping improve the secure design of cloud-based interactions; I previously worked at Cloudflare, helping build authentication and authorization systems.

Most of my projects have been in Go, PHP, or Python, but I also consider myself fairly proficient in C, Rust, and Lua, which I have varyingly used in company and personal projects. You can find more information on my Code page or on GitHub.
