Who we are: Mindrift connects specialists with project-based opportunities for leading tech companies, focused on testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems. We're not a product company — we build the training and evaluation data that makes AI models actually good at their job. Right now, we're looking for competitive programmers to help with coding models specifically.

We're looking for competitive programmers to help build problems and graders used to train AI coding models. If you enjoy problem-setting, hacking weak solutions, and writing brutal test cases — this might be for you.

What you'd actually do:

• Write original algorithmic problems (statement, constraints, intended solution)
• Write correct solutions in C++ and Python
• Write realistic wrong solutions — the kind of bugs real contestants actually submit
• Build generators, edge cases, stress tests, and testlib checkers/interactors
• Make sure correct solutions pass and wrong ones fail, within time limits Basically: problem-setting + testing, the parts of running a contest that actually take the most work.

Who we're looking for:

• A public CP profile — Codeforces rating, or ICPC/IOI/national olympiad record
• Fluent contest C++, comfortable with Python
• You can look at a solution and say exactly why it's wrong — and construct the input that proves it
• Strong written English (C1+)

Levels (by rating or equivalent olympiad result):

• Associate — 1700–2100 (Expert/CM) — easier problems
• Expert — 2200–2600 (Master/GM) — harder problems
• Senior/Reviewer — 2600+ (IGM) or IOI/ICPC medalist — hardest problems + quality review

Nice to have: experience setting/testing for real contests (CF rounds, ICPC, olympiads, online judges), testlib experience, or prior work on LLM code benchmarks/eval datasets.

Format: project-based, freelance. ~10-20 hrs/week during active phases (not guaranteed workload). Paid per accepted task — up to $90/hr equivalent depending on tier and pace.
