Welcome to my homepage

I like restoring 80s and 90's computers and equipment and preserving information. Sometimes I even have the energy to do coding projects and make Youtube videos.

I've spent almost five years creating this website entirely by hand with zero help from any website builders or glorified chat bots. From the bare HTML, to the CSS, to my Javascript; All of it is hand typing and a lot of web searching for tutorials.

Rakko Project Banner My other website, made entirely with vintage computers and web 1.0 standards in mind, is The Rakko Project. Originally written entirely with period correct hardware and software, includes no complicated CSS, no javascript and no forced HTTPS. You'll find downloads for drivers, programs, documentation and tutorials for old computers, in a site fully accessible by them.

Updates

MARCHintosh Plans

(Update 3/24) - I'm really sorry but I've been having a hard time being motivated to work on anything for Marchintosh this month. I've become pretty burnt out on technology while getting back into historical topics. I've also been having to spend my weekends getting my garden ready and I feel too burned out afterwards to try and film a video of repairing computers.

I've come into the possession of a large lot of Macintosh related equipment; including several iconic models that need to be repaired. I have several videos planned for the month where I get these back up and running.

There is also a lot of software and documentation I got from the same lot that I need to go through and see if any of it hasn't been archived yet.

Under Contruction

  • I'm currently building a blog for this site with search functionality.
  • I've been improving the site CSS.

Hey Lawrence!

How do you have a reasonable debate with white supremacist traitors?
