Achieving our vision of becoming the world's bank payment network will be a long road. Although we've already made considerable progress, there's a load more we need to do if we're going to make it happen. The first part of our Vision helps to make clear that we're on a journey. We continue to set out what we believe is the right path towards getting there, and it will take place over many years.

We want to be upfront that it will take us a long time to actually bring to life. But ultimately, we think, there's a huge prize at the end of it. Therefore, it's crucial to persist in putting in the necessary effort and celebrating each step forward we take.

The next part of our Vision really helps to clarify what we mean by 'world'. You might ask if we're planning to bring GC to endless new markets, or stick with what we know?

The answer is that we're not looking to expand our footprint right now. We want to scale and build volume in the markets in which we currently operate. But, if we get very clear pull from existing merchants or partners to enter into new custom markets then we'll certainly look at it.

As a company we need to make sure that we have a bank payment product that is really competitive on a local basis. That means not being 'one size fits all' - our product must be really strong in each of our geos.

We've made some fantastic progress, but there's still work to do. We also want to start adding the capability to not just collect payments, but send them as well.
