By using Beatra (the Bot and related web services), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service. Continued usage after updates means acceptance of revised terms.
2. Description of Service
Beatra is a music service for Discord and web control surfaces that provides:
- Playback support for permitted sources such as YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, and direct audio links
- Playlist creation, management, and synchronization across supported surfaces
- Queue and playback control with role-based access restrictions
- Web dashboard controls with secure authenticated sessions
- Operational session state recovery for reliability
- Permission and moderation controls for server owners and managers
- Localized experience across supported languages
- Audio effect features where legally and technically available
- Premium features and related account capabilities
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to use Beatra lawfully, responsibly, and in compliance with applicable platform and intellectual property rules.
- Follow Discord Terms, policies, and server-specific rules
- Ensure content usage complies with copyright and licensing laws in your jurisdiction
- Do not abuse, spam, automate misuse, or disrupt service operations
- Do not attempt unauthorized reverse engineering, intrusion, or exploit activity
- Do not use Beatra for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent activities
- Respect other users, communities, and moderation decisions
4. Service Availability
We aim for reliable service, but uptime and uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed.
- Service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis
- Availability may vary due to infrastructure, third-party platforms, or maintenance
- We may deploy fixes, security updates, and maintenance without prior notice
- Features may be changed, suspended, or discontinued when required
5. Prohibited Activities
The following behavior is prohibited:
- Streaming or distributing content in violation of intellectual property rights
- Attacking, overloading, or degrading platform availability
- Unauthorized copying, redistribution, or misuse of protected code/assets
- Harassment, abuse, hate, threats, or malicious activity toward users or staff
- Circumventing security, access, usage, or billing controls
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Codeshare and Beatra are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, third-party platform downtime, user-generated misuse, or content availability issues.
7. Third-Party Content
Beatra depends on third-party services and APIs. We do not own third-party media content, and your use remains subject to each provider's terms and regional legal requirements.
8. Termination
We may restrict or terminate access where necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or policy enforcement.
- Suspend or restrict accounts or servers violating these terms
- Disable integrations where abuse, fraud, or legal risk is identified
- Terminate services or features when legally, technically, or operationally required
