Sarah Gowayed is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, Storyteller Academy, and a graduate of Children’s Book Academy. She is the founder and CEO of Sound Heart Kids, a children’s publishing company. Writing stories that inspire youth to cultivate sound hearts is my passion. A homeschooling mother of three, Sarah is President and Founder the non-profit, Muslim Homeschool Association. With a B.A. in journalism and an M.B.A, Sarah previously worked in radio and co-founded an Islamic private school, Tarbiyah Academy. Sarah earned her Associate’s Degree in Islamic Studies from Miftaah Institute’s Online Seminary where she is currently seeking a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies. When not writing, I enjoy hiking, reading, and ramen.
