I'm Nick — a Maintainer of AutoGPT, serial hackathon winner, and a Texan who once sent a weather balloon 30,000 feet into the stratosphere just to mint an NFT on the blockchain. It froze. It thawed. It minted. No regrets.

What I'm building:

• 🖼️ EaselWall — a macOS app that puts a museum masterpiece on your desktop every morning, because "the desktop is the most-looked-at painting in the world. It may as well be a good one."
• ❄️ Arctic Blower — a snow-clearing empire simulator built by AI in one conversation. One file. One idea. Infinite snow.

A few things about me:

• 🎈 Launched a weather balloon to the stratosphere to mint the world's first NFT from space (60L of helium · 10 bps satellite comms · 1 frozen camera · 0 regrets)
• 🧠 Built a brainwave-controlled robot for ALS & quadriplegia patients — won Best IoT Hack at SXSW
• 🎨 Built XR music production with a Magic Leap One at SXSW. Also won that one.
• 🎭 Competed in Destination Imagination Improv to a global top-10 finish as a kid; now I judge it
• 🏆 9+ hackathon wins. Solar-powered parking systems, esports Discord bots, bag-tracking RFID networks — you know, the classics
• 🎮 Star Citizen player, Minecraft builder
• 📐 3D prints Gridfinity bins and built a space optimizer for them
• 🤖 Restarted UNT's robotics club from 0 → 80+ members, then immediately built more robots
• 🌙 Night owl — my best commits happen around 1:30 AM CST, co-authored with Claude
